Peace is a choice. Political views are a choice. Most importantly the way that we treat people is a choice. Over the last few years this has become lost in a sea of hate. Pagans are drawing lines in places that were always peaceful. Witchcraft in my eyes has always been a great power of peace and a place for everyone to live. No matter gender or sexual orientation. No matter what political party you see as right. After 40 years on this earth, I have watched the evil of all government overreach from the top to the bottom and it was not because of one specific party or person. I have watched families that should love each other break up over politics and personal beliefs. I have seen mothers and fathers disown their children over who they chose to marry and love. People go to their church to worship god and now they get a political platform. The church wants a collective line towed to receive gods’ salvation, but this is nothing new.
I am not here to bash the church and God bless them and their families. But I will stand up and call out the pagans in this country that know the craft is a place of peace and not a platform. Did we forget that the witch is a healer? Do not get lost in a sea of 2025 terms and names like seer and baneful. We as witch’s should defend and take care of the weak and unable. I have openly allowed any one in my TT show and don’t have to ask what they believe in or who they voted or who they love. Do you know why? Well first off, its none of my business. Secondly, I don’t care. I have a job to do, and I can do that without knowing anything about you. The rule for the live show is everyone is welcome, and we do not do politics in any form. People get removed for any type of actions that lead to a hostile environment for my clients. This space has been incredibly successful because of these simple rules. These rules are not new or special in any way. When the live show is in session, I don’t know you and you don’t know me. Unless you tell me, I have no idea. This gives me one choice to treat people with respect and love until proven otherwise. I have been known to throw smoke at the evangelists that come though, and they can never fight their own bible because they didn’t read the god damn thing. This is a form of protection against bullies and again they brought it into the space and loving place. At these points I do not pick peace.
The whole point of this letter is that I expect more from pagans. I know in my heart that you are not only smarter and more educated but also magic. We must choose peace in these times. We must put aside any magic differences and show the heart. I have friends that are hardcore Luciferian atheists. I have friends that are wiccans. I have friends like me that are magic beings without a label. But after 2 years on Tik Tok I have seen pagans fighting pagans and debating about information that’s less than 50 years old on this earth that has always been magic.
So, Witch listen to me! I see a real witch when they are openly and lovingly teaching their craft. Not gate keeping and expecting everyone to be like you. Get out of your little circle of friends and experience other thoughts. If you are not willing to use your heart in the craft, then just go join and OTO or the masons. Because that is exactly who you are.
